Organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), with China Construction Bank (Asia) as the title sponsor for the third consecutive year, the CCB (Asia) Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival will be held at the Central Harbourfront Event Space from 27 to 30 October.
The venue size is 20% larger than that of previous years, making this year¡¯s event the biggest ever. It features more than 410 wine and food booths in five distinct themed zones. The popular ¡°Tasting Room¡± will continue to host a one-of-a-kind Master Chef Dinner prepared by the top restaurant in Asia¡¯s 50 Best Restaurants 2016, three local Michelin-starred restaurants, and other award-winning establishments from Hong Kong.
HKTB Chairman Dr Peter Lam said: ¡°Since its debut, the CCB (Asia) Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival has become one of the most anticipated mega events of the year. It draws a large number of festival-goers, both tourists and locals, and is widely reported in global media, so it generates a lot of international exposure for the city. This year, we are expanding the scale of the event, presenting fine wines from 26 countries and an enriched variety of gastronomic delights in the five distinct themed zones for all the participants¡¯ enjoyment. Michelin-starred restaurants and other award-winning establishments to present a one-of-a-kind Master Chef Dinner
* Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong will build a whimsical ¡°Dessert Garden¡± with an array of tantalising snacks and confections.
* Eight of the city¡¯s top bartenders will each concoct a special Hong Kong-inspired cocktail for the ¡°World Class Street Food Jam¡±. Each drink will be paired with a delicious dish from the respective bar/restaurant.
Endless excitement during the Hong Kong Great November Feast
The CCB (Asia) Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival is the kick-off event for the Hong Kong Great November Feast. Throughout November, the HKTB will partner with our local food industry partners, key dining districts and various hotels to promote an amazing array of culinary events around town to tourists and the international media, including the Elite Dining Week, the Lan Kwai Fong Carnival, the FUNtastic QRE Festival, and many others. In addition, a number of bars and winning restaurants in the 2016 Best of the Best Culinary Awards will roll out a series of promotions and special offers to coincide with the Hong Kong Great November Feast.
